Ben and Natalie Tokach

Ben and Natalie are graduates of Kansas State University, where both earned degrees in Animal Science. They are the parents of three sons—Bentley (10), Briar (7), and Gentry (3½)—and live just three miles from the ranch.

Natalie and the boys are frequently at the ranch, assisting with daily chores and ranch activities whenever possible. The grandsons are especially known for excelling at one important task: enjoying snacks while riding in the tractor with Grandpa Richard—a favorite ranch tradition.

Renae and Tanner Gress

Renae and Tanner, both graduates of North Dakota State University, reside in Mandan and assist with ranch operations when time allows. They are the parents of two sons, Elliott (2023) and Caleb (2025).

Elliott enjoys spending time on the ranch, checking on the cows and riding in the tractors with Grandpa Richard—while also proudly participating in the grandson snack tradition. Caleb is still too young to ride with Grandpa, but he enjoys being outside in the stroller or wagon during ranch visits.

Rebecca and Alex Acheson

Alex and Rebecca Acheson reside in Wichita, Kansas, with their three sons—Cooper (2015), Emmett (2017), and Rhett (2020). Both are graduates of Kansas State University and enjoy returning to Manhattan for sporting events and alumni activities with their boys. Cooper, Emmett, and Rhett stay busy throughout the year participating in multiple sports and showing their Hereford heifers and steers. When time allows, the boys especially enjoy trips to North Dakota, where they spend time at the ranch riding horses, helping drive the side-by-side and tractors, and feeding cows with Grandpa Richard.
